I needed a widget like this for my blog, so I decided to develop a minimalist cookie bar and open-source it

Two days ago, I wrote an article about GDPR, Google Analytics and audience measurement.

In that article I proposed a course of action, but no technical guide for adding the "cookie bar" in question.

Since I myself needed a widget of this kind for my blog, one that would be very easy to integrate so I could use it without having to touch my Ghost theme's code, I decided to develop a minimalist cookie bar and release it as open-source...

And it's done!

By the way, if you look at the bottom left of your screen right now, you'll see a live demo of what you too can integrate on your site, in just a few clicks.

This bar was specifically designed to be as unintrusive as possible. So if you're looking for a minimalist cookie bar, with consent management for audience measurement (such as Google Analytics), that's easy to integrate, you'll find all the code on the Github project:

Of course, issues and pull requests are welcome! (and stars too)
