Add a customer support chat to your websites with Crisp

When launching a website or web application, the ideal is to launch it as early as possible in order to find out what users think of it, which features they like, but above all what problems they might encounter.

We all know the good old contact pages with a simple, effective form, but people's habits on the internet evolve over time and they are becoming less and less "patient".

Careful, I'm not accusing anyone, I'm one of those people myself!

Installation

Before you can install the chatbox, you'll need to create an account and then add a new site to your account, and for that it's very simple, you just need a name and a URL.

Next you'll need to configure your Crisp, the tutorial fits into two small popups that will guide you according to your technology.

Note that if you use a Javascript framework, numerous tutorials are provided by the team, such as this one for installing Crisp with ReactJS!

Here I chose the html version directly, all you have to do now is copy-paste the provided script and you're done!

All you have left to do is redeploy your site and you'll see the beautiful description bubble appear!

But if you want to go further and customize the messaging behavior even more, Crisp provides you with an sdk, directly included in the original script, there's nothing to add!

So you can now show or hide the bubble depending on the visitor's page, or whether they are logged in or not, for example. For that, I'll let you check out the sdk documentation!
