Minecraft has now entered the video game hall of fame for having been one of the most commercially successful games (and critically acclaimed) in history.
And if you're a fan of this masterpiece, simply nostalgic, or if you're looking for a font with a "pixelated" style, then this project is for you!
Monocraft
The Monocraft font was created by developer and designer @Idrees and here's what it looks like:

On the internet, you can find a plethora of fancy fonts, but this one is very complete, and well designed:
- 1500+ symbols (lowercase, uppercase, accents, special characters,...)
- Monospace
- Available in OTF and TTF
One small downside, only the "normal" weight of the font is available, so "bold" or "italic" versions will need to be simulated in your application!
To download the font and start using it, head over to this dedicated Github page: https://github.com/IdreesInc/Monocraft/releases/tag/v3.0
And if you're looking for a similar font, but one that isn't "monospace", then you'll find what you're looking for right here (same designer): https://github.com/IdreesInc/Minecraft-Font
Personal note
Having tested this font for programming, directly in Visual Studio Code, I don't recommend it. It's far too complex and distracting to stay focused and efficient!
But if you want to try it anyway, here's our article on how to change the VS Code font:
