You may not know it, but the French state has invested heavily in opening up its data and its source code!

Initiatives coordinated by the DINUM (Interministerial Digital Directorate), which also runs the BetaGouv program!

Today we're introducing a platform you probably didn't know about: CodeGouv!

On this site, you'll find plenty of information about public sector source code (ministries, universities, etc...), but above all the complete list of all open-source code repositories, with links and their last update date:

You can access it via this link: https://code.gouv.fr/public/#/repos

You'll even have the ability to search repositories by:

  • Keyword
  • License
  • Language
  • Hosting (forge)

This is how you could, for example, find the repository for calculating income tax
