# Top 10 Science Communicators to Expand Your Knowledge Through Video

Since I've been a freelance web developer, the number of missions where I was hired purely and simply as a developer can be counted on one hand.

Some clients come to me directly with an idea (or a problem), and my role is to support them through every step until the solution is implemented. And I love it!

I've always cultivated this multidisciplinary approach because it's one of the driving forces of my personality, and today, I'm going to share with you one of my secrets for broadening my knowledge in fields that revolve (closely or loosely) around web development.

My secret is... YouTube

Some people know YouTube through the lens of its more or less questionable trending videos and other equally mind-numbing content, but for my part I associate it with a fantastic platform for technical and scientific outreach content!

Obviously, watching YouTube videos isn't enough to master a subject, but it's a fun entry point that will allow you to dig deeper afterward.

Today I'm going to give you a list of creators who taught me an enormous amount, but who also taught me to be even more curious and to take an interest in every possible subject, and that's partly what makes my work so rich today!
