Concepts and technical terms

There are a few important terms and concepts to always keep in mind when working with Git. These are simple concepts, but ones you need to know, as they are the ones I'll be using throughout this course, and ones you'll encounter every day when using Git!

Commit: A commit is a saved snapshot of a set of changes to the project. Each commit represents a new version of the code.
