Creating your first pull request

A pull request, sometimes also called a "merge request" or "PR", is the equivalent of a pending git merge submitted for validation by another team member.

In a typical workflow, this simply makes it possible to collaborate on different working branches, and to bring all the changes back onto a reference branch, while giving someone else the opportunity to do a "code review".
