Fetching from a remote repository

When you start collaborating, the remote repository is updated regularly, without you necessarily knowing it. You therefore need to regularly fetch the new changes to update your local repository.

If changes have been pushed to the remote repository and you don't have them locally, you won't be able to push yours until you have synchronized your local repository.
