One of the advantages of GitHub is that the platform is very comprehensive, and it allows you in particular to browse the code, create/edit files, and create commits, all directly from the interface!

Of course, this isn't meant to be the primary use of the tool; it's recommended that you make your changes locally and then push them to GitHub!
