Display Mode

Do you remember when we said that positioning was the cornerstone of CSS? Well, the display mode is the second cornerstone, almost tied for first place!

Quite simply because the display mode will affect several other properties in CSS, including position, size and sometimes even colors!

All HTML elements are characterized by a display mode, but not all elements have the same default mode.
