Mathematical Functions

It's very convenient to be able to create your own functions, but as the saying goes: "There's no point reinventing the wheel!", because it's important to know that every language comes with a set of pre-defined functions that will make your life easier!

These functions allow you to modify strings, perform mathematical operations, etc… This is generally known as the standard library!
