Tracking and cookies

In the regulations, the term cookie is mentioned a very large number of times to refer to the tracking of a user across several websites, for example.

But we are tempted to think: I don’t use cookie technology, I use [insert name of technology], so I’m not affected!

But in reality, since 2019, we no longer talk about cookies, but more generally about “trackers”, which are defined as being able to be:
