What is the GDPR?

In 2016, the legal framework surrounding the management of personal data underwent significant changes with a set of texts adopted by the European Union.

These texts are known as the GDPR, for General Data Protection Regulation.

The main objective of the GDPR is to establish a stricter framework in order to protect individuals' privacy and prevent abuses in the use and resale of personal data, as can be the case in other countries.

This relatively complex regulation is actually based on a few founding principles that are very simple to understand and are a matter of common sense.
